I started shooting photography back in the 1980s. My first camera was an Olympus OM-F film camera. I took a lot of pictures with that camera. I lived in Tennessee at the time. I used to go out and take pictures of barns. I would take pictures of people from time to time and even shot my first wedding. If you think taking pictures at a wedding with a digital camera is stressful, try doing an entire wedding not knowing until the pictures come back that you got your settings correct!
It was quite a few years later that I started getting interested again but this time it was digital photography. It is amazing the transformation of digital photography has made over the years. I remember when a one-megapixel camera was the rage. I also remember when I bought my first computer and I was told I would never need larger than a twenty Megabyte hard drive!
Through the years I have transformed from someone who loved to take pictures to someone that started looking for that perfect shot. The more I studied about photography and the elements of a good shot, the more I was hooked.
